Child safety requirements for congregations without children
Congregations that signed a Child Safety ‘No Children’ Assurance in Round 1 are reminded that a new assurance is required for Round 2.
A Child Safety ‘No Children’ Assurance is an option for congregations that do not have children regularly in attendance. Signing this document allows a congregation to delay undertaking a full Self-Assessment and Child Safety Standard Action Plan until children begin attending regularly. Congregations are still required to attend to some child safety activities as outlined in the assurance.
To submit your Round 2 Child Safety Assurance, please visit the Online Portal at css.lca.org.au/css-online-portal
Please ensure that all Round 2 Child Safety Standards Action Plans and Assurances are submitted by 31 March 2025.
