ALC chamber organ needs new home
Due to the sale of Australian Lutheran College’s (ALC) North Adelaide campus, the chamber organ, currently located in the college chapel, requires a new home.
The organ was donated to ALC by organ builder Daniel Bittner, and thanks to funds raised by several congregations and members of the LCA, it underwent improvements before being installed in 2017.
ALC would ideally like the organ to remain within the Lutheran community and invites expressions of interest from individuals or congregations interested in acquiring the instrument.
For detailed specifications of the organ, please refer to this fact sheet.
How to express interest: Interested individuals or congregations are invited to send an expression of interest to business@alc.edu.au by the close of business on Friday 28 November 2024. The instrument must be removed from ALC no later than the end of May 2025.
Arrange an inspection: To arrange a time to inspect the organ before submitting an expression of interest, please contact ALC on (08) 7120 8200.
