Represent our sector in shaping the future of aged care
The Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate representative to join the prestigious National Aged Care Alliance (NACA). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing reform and development of Australia’s aged care system, ensuring the voices of our sector are heard in key policy discussions.
What is NACA?
Established in April 2000, NACA is a collective of peak national organisations, including consumer groups, aged care providers, unions, and health professionals. This alliance plays a critical role in shaping Government policy and serves as a vital link between the aged care sector and the Department of Health and Aged Care.
NACA meetings are held quarterly, with two-day sessions in cities such as Melbourne, Canberra, and Adelaide. Occasionally, additional online meetings are convened to address pressing sector needs. Recent NACA initiatives have been pivotal in influencing significant reforms within the aged care landscape.
