In the wake of devastating and deadly bushfires in the Adelaide Hills in December 2019, Lobethal Lutheran School teamed up with Spring Head Lutheran congregation to establish an outdoor learning program and encourage local children to re-connect with the surrounding bush.

Lutheran schools cohort shows Olympic class
Former and current Lutheran school students shone at the recent Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, winning at least 19 medals, including nine gold, from a total Australian tally of 46 medals. If Lutheran Education Australia were a country, it would have beaten Canada, Brazil and New Zealand.
