Website hosting

Hosting is a service that allows you to have a website on the internet. We provide a service for congregations and agencies to do this. Agency and congregation websites are stored on an LCA-managed server in Australia, which is supported by a national hosting company. This service is available to all LCANZ agencies and congregations.

Domain name registration

We offer domain name registrations. An example of a domain name is yourchurch.org.au  Subject to the approval of your proposed name, we will register your domain name on your behalf. If you already have a domain, you can transfer the domain to LCA IT and you pay the lower renewal fee the LCA have negotiated. Once a domain name is registered, you can use it for websites, email addresses or both.

LCA email accounts

LCA email accounts are issued to all pastors and other church workers, including staff paid on the LCA Human Resource System (HRS), volunteers registered on HRS, and all other users with access to LCA resources.

Hardware

We are able to utilise our bulk-buying power to gain negotiated discount prices for hardware with trusted supplier, Blackbird IT. The application process be available here soon.

Software

We are able to utilise our bulk-buying power to gain negotiated discount and not-for-profit prices for software, including brands Microsoft, Webroot and Adobe.
